FAQ
Questions parents ask us
If your question is not here, please reach out — we are happy to talk before you book.
How do I know if my child needs an assessment?
Trust your instincts. If you have persistent concerns about development, communication, behaviour, or learning — and those concerns affect daily life — an assessment can help. You do not need a referral from a doctor to contact us, though we are happy to work with your paediatrician.
What ages do you work with?
We support neurodivergent children and young people aged 3–18, along with their parents and caregivers.
How long does the first appointment take?
An initial consultation usually lasts 60–90 minutes. We use this time to understand your concerns, gather history, and discuss sensible next steps — without rushing you.
Do you work with schools?
Yes. With your permission, we can liaise with teachers, SENCOs, and other professionals to support consistent strategies across home and school.
Is everything confidential?
Yes. We follow professional standards for confidentiality. We will explain any limits (such as safeguarding) clearly at your first visit.
How do I book a consultation?
Use our contact form, call us, or message on WhatsApp. We will arrange a time that works for your family and send gentle guidance on what to expect.
Still unsure? We can help you decide if a consultation makes sense.
